Prosjekt: Pop is a non-profit norwegian organization that promotes gender equality for all sexes and sexualities. They work for a anti-racist environment and creates a platform open and safe for the less visible groups in the music industry.
This summer they held a band course for girls and transgender in different ages. I was asked to make their posters and marketing material for the summer season of 2017. In addition I was asked to update their webpage and to design t-shirts for the participants and course leaders.
After deciding the feel of the poster I started experimenting with layout and colors. This resulted in various poster ideas.
Below are the final posters for the two different courses divided by age. I believed the color scheme was a suitable choice for this purpose without drawing to much attention off from their message.
The details and graphics for this poster was created based on their already existing logo.
In addition to the main poster there were more promotion material to be created. With this main poster as a base I played with opposites and created this social media posts for them to attract trainees to the band camp.
The t-shirt design was decided to be a simple as possible and with only black as color of the print.
Please visit Prosjekt: Pop to find more information about this amazing initiativ I was honored to take part in.
